Coaching Clinic With Tufts Coach Tina Mattera
Join Tufts University Head Field Hockey Coach Tina Mattera on July 24th from 1-4pm at Legion Memorial Field in Weymouth, MA for an advanced skills and drills clinic for rising 6th through 12th graders. Coach Mattera will be working with the south shore field hockey community to help athletes reach the next level of play through fun and competitive spirit. The clinic fee is $95 per athlete, and includes an intimate atmosphere with Coach Mattera and clinic staff, as well as a t-shirt for all athletes.
Coach Mattera is in her 19th year of coaching and has built Tufts Field Hockey into one of the country's elite programs. She led the Jumbos to a 2-1 victory against Montclair State in the 2012 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship, making it the first NCAA title won by a women's team at Tufts. Mattera was also voted National Coach of the Year by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) in 2012. She is an active member of the USA Masters Field Hockey Program and loves spending her summers on South Shore beaches.
